We welcome everyone to experience all the pleasures and kindness you deserve at our locally owned restaurant.

Owner, Michael Benny Miller II, started this restaurant with the idea that great food could be offered at reasonable prices in an environment that is warm and welcome to all.

Mike, as all refer to him, has been apart of the restaurant industry for almost twelve years.  Most notable was being apart of Mitra in Midtown, where Sia Moshk, owner of Sia's in Duluth, hired Mike as the General Manager in charge of opening the location.  The place is still a recommendation from Mike any time you are in the Midtown area for dinner.  Prior to the opening of Benny's, Mike was with the Peasant Group, which is known for The Pleasant Peasant and Mick's in Midtown.  Experiencing many cuisines, from home cooking diners to white table cloth fine dining, his menu definitely reflects on his experiences.  His Louisiana heritage of friends and family embracing life is found in many areas of the menu and ambiance of the restaurant.  But, "We are not a Louisiana restaurant!", is what you hear from the owner.  And with the menu ranging from regions in South America, Italy, The Carribean, Southwest America, and Louisiana, you definitely know why he says so.  Mike claims to be no chef, but the food leaves you wanting to try a new dish evertime you dine.  He sure seems to know his food, and that is a nice change from the "chain restaurants" all over the Gwinnett County area of Atlanta.

Upon entering Benny's, you find welcoming staff to a warm atmosphere.  There is something for everyone.  A huge projector displays anything from sports to movies.  Nope, it's not a sports bar either, claims Mike.  But it sure is nice to bring your date in and enjoy nice wine and food while having the option to see the game without all the rowdy crowds.  As for service, don't expect to get a "Hi my name is ______" line when you are greated at your table.  By the end of your dinner you will ask for the servers name, just to be able to ask for them next time you dine.  And you will dine again.  Just try it once...and you will be hooked.

The location can handle large groups, and has often resulted in parties up to 80 people.  Mike says he can probably do more than that.   They do take reservations, and is recommended for parties of 5 or more.  Parking seems limited from the front, but additional spaces exist around the side of the restaurant.

We all know that good restaurants are hard to come by in the Gwinnett area of Atlanta.  This little restaurant is what all the guest that have been there have wanted for years.  So join the loyal followers, and plan your lunch or dinner at Benny's.  It's definitely worth the drive from anywhere.
